Had I planned for this thaw a bit better I would have pushed the car outside and powerwashed the bay. Needs a good degreasing before I start stripping it down. I’ll need to take pics though.

I grew up in Mass. and every town had 3 or 4 cops giving speeding tickets 24 hrs. a day. I wonder about emissions testing . They have to be at least as bad as California. Liberal utopia . A law , tax , and fee for everything.
I get thumbs up in the fox from cops these days.
No emissions testing but you need to have cats on the car. I’m actually not a fan of catless. As for actually passing a sniffer, they don’t test. They don’t even pop the hood.

I beleive the T-stat housing bolts are the 1" and 1.5" long bolts under the 5/16-18 header, but i'll have to double check. Mcmaster only has the stainless ARP bolts. I haven't found them to carry the black nitride bolts, and can't find the matching washers. But if you plug in some of those numbers it brings you to the entire chart to order bolts by size. Obviously the more you order to break up shipping cost, the better
I was gonna do the same but ended up using lauquer thinner to wipe everything down and then prep spray.
