About a month ago I made a big mistake and bought a clutch cable kit from them. Billet quad/firewall adj/cable. I first tried installing it when I recieved the item. I didn't like the way the cable fit since i was about 6inches shorter. It ran right in front of my oil filter. I tried rerouting it closer to the oil pan and under the motor mount near the steering rack. I liked niether so I put my stock cable back in, and tried contacting them asking for store credit or a refund. They only said it was a direct fit part...yada yada...and insisted on being very rude.
Well, today I called them, they said they ship out hundreds of them and I can send it back to them to see if it is a fluke. They claimed they are
cnc(sp?) machined and what not. I decided that it was a waste of time and decided to give it a second chance today.
First off, the quadrant didn't even fit on the pin that the original quadrant came off, I had to file/drill out the hole so that it was big enough. Then once I got the cable routed decently around the oil filter, where it would be possible to change the oil, you know if I EVER need to do that, hah. Then I get the adjuster mounted to the firewall w/ 1 screw, the cable just kinda floating around in the adjuster, and hooked to the quad inside the car.
Then, I go under the car and the freakin' cable is NOT long enough to hook to the clutch release arm. So I have to use it without the firewall adjuster to have enough room. My clutch weighs about two tons now, but at least I dont have a crappy plastic quad.
Anyone want a billet firewall adjuster, for their long enough cable?? Let me know I dont want much for it.
Basically, I am saying Mustang Warehouse sells junk, be careful.
Thanks for your time.
Anyone else had problems with these guys?

I know the owner. He can come across as a real dick sometimes. He's very abrasive. But he's always treated me right. I've bought a bunch of stuff from him and he's always stood by it. I've had a few issues and he's always helped me out. (like crap chrome job on MAC sytem after 1 winter)

It is possible you got the wrong part? Maybe you got the kit for the 94-95 5.0 car by mistake or the kit for the 87-93 cars.

Either way, man that sucks.

I bought my accufab 70mm TB and Accufab plenum from them without any problems at all. The pics appear to show a manufacturer's defect.
