I love this forum! 
I just saw a thread in which some people were fairly upset about the idea of modding a shelby. being that that's a subject close to my heart, I'm hoping to revive the conversation.
here's some recent pics of my 07...
my original plan was to leave the shelby hood/scoop unmolested (hence, the current gt hood), but that's now out the window, as I'm in the process of cutting it open to make the scoop 'functional' and then painting it.

I figure, I have a 401K for retirement, so I'm not really worried about my shelby losing it's "collectors" status. plus, by the time shelby's are worth anything more than what I paid for it, more than likely, I'll be worm food, so I figure I might as well enjoy it as much as possible, right now, while I'm young enough to do so. also, I love when people tell me that they've never seen a shelby like mine. a couple have even asked where they could get one just like it.
