I've been in the hobby a long time, The deals are still out there, but they would last for long. Find one and put it away, Your earn more then the 2 percent you'll get on a 10 year bond....and enjoy driving your investment

Did you win it on a penny auction? Because that is way to low for that condition car.

Thanks for the kind words

Now to be fair I have 10 plus hours of wet sanding and cleaning into it. (zero rust and carpets that look almost new) This was a great find, but I've never get over passed on a 70 Boss 302 for $4500 in 1996 because it didn't have a hood scoop or the 383 Cude with a four speed and side grills because it wasn't red in 1999 for $5000, There is most likely 1/2 dozen more "smart moves" on my part that I was sorry about later. Maybe one day Fox body 5.0 become the next 69 Z-28. Seems like a wise idea to find a stock one and tuck it away and use it when you want.

I have a buddy that paid in the 20k neighborhood for a 70 boss 302, original paint, real nice car, but it seems like every time it gets out of the garage something else is wrong with it. he just quit driving it, says its his retirement.

I'll stick to Mutual funds and gold for investments... But that is one SICK car for the price! Cherish it because super clean stock fox is extremely rare, GT + T-top = even more rare!

Very nice job! You won't regret it... now MORE pics please... Love seeing unmolested fox Mustangs!

Amazing find for the price. I would have a really hard time keeping it stock though.

156k miles, Auto, 3.27 rear

Keeping it stock for me is as hard as it was for me to stop smoking. Every time I walk pass the tool box my hand starts to shake. At least there's a few things to fix like the seat......Damn do I want to remove the factory 4 cats and upgrade the intake and a shift kit would work nice with the 3.27's LOL. I'm going to have to seal the garage to keep me out.

For an auto with 156K that is still a good price. they ARE out there. A lot of non-car people really don't know that a weekend of wet sanding and buffing will do wonders! Good job!!

But, I would HAVE to modify that car. An auto is really not all that fun to drive and with 156K, things will need attention no doubt.

Looks good and great price. But what's the fun in keeping it stock? Keep the mods tasteful and reversible and keep the stock parts if you ever want to go back to stock later on. Enjoy it! I miss my T-top...

Wow, being a teen in the late 80's I love t-top cars, especially on fox mustangs. Nice score for the price!
