Yeah, that was joke, lol. Not gonna lie, watching you cut into that pretty black finish inside Doby makes me cringe a little! Cant wait to see the outcome though!

Sure, it might be able to remove the paint but it'll leave the primer, etching, and serial numbers behind.

Ok, first thing, the shock tower I left attached to the inner tub and shortened it's bracket where it attaches to the frame, I don't know if you can tell, but, I cut off two full inches off that bracket. I then reshaped it to still provide strength for the shock tower by welding it to the frame later.
I got it pretty well cleaned up around the inner tub and floor.

I got the inner fitted. I just need to notch the frame now.

But, that's it for today. I have to get cleaned up and go to my grandaughter's birthday party.

I'll be back after it tomorrow. I hope to get quite a bit welded in then.

No need to be b*tchy on the same subject on two threads Mike.

This is my thread, and if I want to be irrelevant, I can.

Anyone up? @Boosted92LX ? What are you doing with your trucks?

I'm going to try to get as close as I can to finishing the left side tub today. To early to do the next thing, cutting the frame rail for the coilover notch.

One of my granddaughters spent the night on the condition of chocolate chip pancakes this morning, so I will need to do that first.

I've been up for hours now. I like my pancakes krispy on the edges. Thanks

There is the shortened by two inches seat belt bracket:
Not very pretty, but real sturdy. If you followed along for this whole build so far, you'll recall that area was the first fix I did after getting the car in my garage. I had real bad rot there. I actually cut part of the patch for the tubbing.

I'm not quite sure. It's been giving me grief for a week. Today was extra nice.

You do know that that is a sure sign of getting old. When you don't know how you hurt something, and yet......

Sorry Allen, I know how you feel bro,, have a few bad discs myself and spent the weekend under the car and in the fenderwell tucking wires and installing my CD ignition. Spent all Sunday night and today with ice packs and an oxy or two. My next house I am getting a garage high enough for a 2 post as its near impossible to work under the car.
