My 2005 mustand stock radio is stuck on am help?!?!

ok i went out of town for a rew weeks and when i came back my radio was all screwed up. its stuck on am it will not go to fm and it wont accept a cd..it just keeps saying initalizing then no cd. i have no idea whats wrong ive tried everything the shops thought i blew a fuse but we got it checked and thats not what it is. for awhile my car kept dying and when we would jump start it it was tuning on to an am station but i was able to change it, now it jjust stays on am...please give any advice?!?

Try disconnecting the the battery for about thirty seconds and see if it reboots itself.

It sounds like a bad battery GROUND connection, either on the battery or where it connects to the car from the battery. That would also explain your car dying and needing jump started. Possible Alternator as well???

Good suggestion, but I'd leave the battery disconnected maybe 5 minutes. This just might clear things up.
