Ken spent a lot time today tuning my car on his day off. He is truly dedicated to making sure his customers cars are tuned RIGHT! The pulls were made with 94 octane and using a AIS methanol injection kit. The timing max is only 16*.

This was the 20psi pull.

Last year on Ken's dyno the most rwhp was 572@20psi 18* timing on 100 octane. I will be going to a track rental this sunday and will be posting track times.

Great #s! At first I was thinking "man something is wrong...Twin 60s should throw down alot more than that @ 20PSI"....then I watched teh vid and heard the AUTO :D.

Not dyno queens, but they really lay it down on the track! Auto is the way to go at your level...I just wish they showed up how much power they are actually putting down on the dyno. When you get out racing they always trap WAY higher than a M5/M6 car thats putting down simular #s....they also ET WAY lower too :D

Anyways, let us know how it runs!

There is a lot more "loss" with a non-locking TQ converter. My car maxed out the fuel system last year on Ken's dyno making 574rwhp. That fuel setup was good to around 750rw.

That's pretty awsome. Must be a bit uncontrollable putting that kind of power down on the street.

I think it's a bit strange that your peak torque doesn't occur soon as the turbos hit full boost. There must be some serious timing retard at spool up.

I'm always surprised how little timing is run when people boost these engines. I think you'd be better off and have a lot more fun with more timing and less boost, especially since you are pushing 20psi. On the 2.3, it's common to run around 24-26* of timing at full boost. I can't imagine the burn is that much faster on a 4.6. Any idea what the EGTs look like with 20psi and 16*? Well, maybe it's all for putting power down on the track instead of making tire smoke.

not trying to change the subject or hijack your thread but how did your tank baffle work out? how did you finish it off?

I don't have it in my tank yet. It will be once the race season is over.

I don't know of too many people running more than 20* timing with the mod engines.

It is a HP Twin 60mm kit. I've had it on the car since early 05. Everything else is built to handle the extra power.
