So what was the cause of the leak Ryan? You keep tap dancing around it and say its found and fixed but why did it do it? Where was it leaking from?

1:valve cover gasket blew out
2:where the oil sending unit is. not where the it threads in on one end. but the other BLEW out. thinking it was cause by pressure building up?
3: rear main is leaking some.
4:front main is leaking some. but not much.

all that contributed. im still not sure what caused all the oil in the exhaust. either way. still gonna build another motor.

Man, I remember those days. I used to sneak and do performance mods when my Dad wasn't around... I'd tell my Mom I was just changing the oil because she didn't know any different anyway, haha.

Taking 4 hours to "change the oil" after carrying a huge cardboard box into the garage...

I don't think you can run the center cap on those wheels with Mark VII rotors. Did you try it yet?

(I didn't read this whole thread, just looked at pics)

Yep...I put on a dry unit...told my mom I was working on the power steering.

She asked what the big blue bottle was, so I told her it was p/s fluid...

Heres mine....98 V6 front spindles..MM Fox to SN95 Stainless brake lines...

The downside..If you look closely to the front wheel, you can see that it sticks out more than the rear...
