I was hoping my 289 would hold out until the winter but in May, it decided it had enough of the Paxton and decided to blow out 2 pistons. So I let the car sit for a few months and with the big OC End of summer cruise fast approaching (3 weeks to be exact) I finally had to get off my butt and get this car running again. So after getting everything purchased, built, ripped down, cleaned up, repainted ect ect ect, I was actually able to get the car done with 2 days to spare (break in time). This did not leave me much time for error as I had to drive the car 150 miles one way to get to the cruise. Needles to say I made it there and back with no problems.
