Yes, stock leaf spring with 1inch lowering block, and the tire size is 255/35/20 in the back and 215/45/17 up front

Thank you for all of the good comment, it make me feel much better now.

Actually 1jz-gte engine is a 2500cc inline six with single turbo. The engine run great and offer lot of touque ,however it dosen't sound like a v8 Mustang at all. That the only weak point of this engine I find so far.....



Wait till I got the traction bar install I 'll take it to the drag strip to see how it run. Hope that it will cure all of the wheel hop problem.

That is the one I was talking about, but I'm pretty sure it is not Toyota powered... His site says something about using a Ford 3.8, but I seem to remember seeing pics with a 289 in place.

Yeah, I noticed in this picture that there is definitely a ford engine in that car

Gowest,did your car come right hand drive or did you convert it??? Sweet looking ride,I bet you dont see many if any other vintage Mustangs around there do you?

Originally it was a left hand drive 66coupe and; yep, Mustang is a very rare car here. I think that there more Ferrari here than a Mustang.

It came 280hp stock but I think it will make minimum of 320 hp after I install Greddy Boost control this weekend. After long wait "traction bar" already got here can't wait to have it install.

Left is carcraft fastback which is my inspiration.

280 hp @ 6200 rpm at flywheel and peak torque of 378 Nm @ 2400, that what it said on paper but I belive it was more that. Law in Japan not allow to advertise more than 280hp. That why JDM Supra have only 280 hp while US version have 320hp. Stock boost is 0.7bar but I will push it to 1.2 bar. or 17psi. Will have dyno result after have the traction bar install, soon.
