I don't see the reason for flaming thise guy for the supposed 4-eyed to aero conversion. Seems that he just bought the car as a roller without body panels, as seen on the first pic.

Either way, that car's gonna look amazing when done! There's lots of work put into it.

i wasnt trying to start anything guys.

the cars pretty amazing. trying to get my heart set on the color of blue i want. yes its krylon paint. had good luck with it. and all the primer was still sealed(not sanded), so basically its just a guide coat, and all the other panels remain from the factory.
the main reason i done the flat black is to get the bugs worked out.. thank god there hasnt been 2 many.
the only parts not outa the red car are the seats. and the dash, along with all the coupe panels of course.
so i came to the conclusion today, after driving it around in the 80+temps, that i need to invest in some floor insulation stuff. and i spent all day hooking the stereo up. pulled the ancient JL 12s, and Power Acoustic 1600 watt amp out of my silver car. and get all this hooked up, and crank it, to realize that the subs are old and fragile, and sound like crap. so i took the subs/ amp out, gonna pull the radio and call it a day. with the flows and the X pipe i got a good radio.
ill get the seats in tomorrow and the control arms on and get somemore pics up 4 yall

Not talkin bout anyone in general, especially not you since you didnt even mention it, but it seems like the popular thing to do lately and its annoying to me. One person says its dumb and un-holy and how the owned sucks and the rest follow up so as not to stand out or possibly be mistaken for someone who doesnt care what kinda front end is on it LOL. To each his own!

Get over it people, once again he saved a car from a life of rotting away. Its his car, let him do his thing. I woulda left it 4 eye personally, but this trend of jumpin on someone for swappin is gettin annoying, as if any of us are Fox purists in ANY way.

If you dont like it, dont do it, but I dont think theres a person on here that doesnt think the car looks a hell of alot better now than it did sittin on the trailer in the first couple pics.

ANYways, keep it up and have a blast. Its a good lookin car with a potent powerplant and even tho, GOD FORBID, its not a virgin 4 eye, I bet it still a fun ride!

Not a single person was bashing him of flaming him. All the posts (including myself) were from people who have eaither done a 4eye conversion or would do it in a similar situation.

This was a very impressive project until the part where the aero nose appeared.

I am thankful that you did the COMPLETE swap, but man I love a 4 eye coupe.

From the looks of that bucktag, this is a SSP car...even more reason to keep it semi-original.

Well, its saved from the junkyard so I guess that is a good thing.

Thanks for not making it some hacked up failed aero nose swapped 4-eye.

im really happy the way the car turned out. there was some PITA moments. but the only way to do a aero swap is to do all or none.
would you have known it was a 85 if i hadnt toldya it still needs some minor detail work, fenders lined up- fib. hood- windows tinted. but over all, for a poor white boy, it looks good. lol

got the control arms completed at 950 last nite. took it 4a spin. that mother fr flat hooooooooooooooooooks
