I have no check engine light and the car really pulls through the rpms, but the mileage is crappy, 15 mph, and it feels really weak right off idle. The only mod is a cold air induction. When I first give it gas to move when I start the car, it hesitates, then dips in rpm, and then lunges forward likes it catching up. Its an auto by the way. This is usually when I tap the gas to get it rolling like when backing out of a parking space. The rest of the time its fine but it still feels sluggish all the time like its not trying. Car has 107,000 miles.

well with crappy mileage (not that 15 with an auto is awful) then you have to eb asked when your last tuneup was? Try cleaning the MAF for s**** and giggles....

I was having that issue up until about a week or two ago. Fresh plugs, wires, cap, and rotor seems to have cleared it up. I need to get around to cleaning my MAF as well. Also might be a good idea to check where the timing is set.

There is a tiny wire in the mass air flow sensor which meters the incoming air charge. If it gets dirt/oil/whatever on it, it will read incorrectly causing the car to go all whacky.

My car does that BAD when I first start my car. The damn smog pump makes it bog like hell until you get above 2k rpms. After the smog turns off, it gets better, but still hesitates slightly. When you do figure it out, let me know because I would like to know.

Check/replace your MAF/IAT/ECT/O2 sensors, plugs/wires/cap/rotor, fuel filter and change the oil. That should get you back to 18MPG or so.

When I bought the car in January the plugs look really good, and everything looked clean. Taken care of car. I just changed the H-pipe and 02 sensors too.
