T/B = Throttle Body
MAF = Mass Air Flow Sensor
CAI = Cold Air Intake
3.73 = Rear end gear ratio
Catback = exhaust (replaces mufflers and tailpipes)
T/A - Timing Adjustor

Ouch he's got gears. If you can drive you can get him. It will prolly be one of those you win one he win's one kinda deals. But if you can drive decently you can get him everytime point blank.

yeah thats the mod that i was worried about. his car is quick especially with those 373s. but i hope my 4.10s will prevail!! OH, thanks for explainin those mods to that newbie! Man i swear if i cant beat him I WILL be doing this ALL NIGHT!

If they said you'd lose, what would you do, avoid him or go out and try to whoop his ass with your drivin?

Wow those 3.73 gears will sure help the Camaro, actually I don't think it really matters they come stock with 3.42's. Not to mention a T/B and a MAF will only make his car slower.

You should be able to beat him.

Well first of all, what all DO you have installed from your list above? And a 215hp 2v 4.6 vs. a z-28? No way. If he has gears and is still stock other than that I think he will beat you considering equal drivers. I believe the z is faster than the gt, stricly based on the cars, not drivers.

First off forget the hole 215 hp part (PI head swap) So consider it basicly a 99-00 gt (260 hp version) My buddy has a 99 gt with cb/x pipe/pulleys and a chip...He raced a 97 WS6 t/a they raced from a hwy roll (60 or 80 mph on) he said they were neck n neck till like 120 or so and when they got to about 140 mph he was up about 3/4-1 car length. I honestly think you have a very good chance to beat it or like someone else said to be a very close race....BTW make sure you take him from a dig not the rolling bull****, IMO if you get a decent launch you take it to him...also now when you said cams did you mean PI CAMS or aftermarket cams for the PI heads? Cuz if its aftermarket cams then there isnt a doubt in my mind that you'll take it to him.. KEEP US POSTED ON THE OUTCOME!!!
