Today my AC quit working well i get home and my alternator isnt charging, would the lack of amps keep the AC from kicking on, please say yes because i just dumped a ton of money on my AC system and it worked great until today, FYI the alternator is a 95A

First, check the fuses, then fix the alternator.

Is the a/c compressor kicking on? Or is the blower not kicking on? A bad alternator can cause fuses, relays and circiut breakers to get hot and blow, so check your fuses and so forth. Get the alternator fixed.

All the fuses are good i took the alternator out to get checked and it was bad it blew the rectifier (sp). No the conpressor isnt even kicking on, the blowerworked but just blew hot air but the compressor didnt kick on at all.

if u have gauges check to see what kind of pressure u have... if its too low the low pressure safety will keep if from turning on...

True, make sure the pressure is where it should be. If it is, check the pressure switch. If its bad your compressor won't come on. I think they are like $10-15. Or free if you work with an ample supply . Also, if the shop that done the work is worth a grain of salt they would take a look at it for you for free.
