Well, I had asked about lifter noise recently and found the problem last night. She went BOOM. Oil pump failed! ***** Too bad too. She was running so good. Plans have changed now. Gonna build it.
Let ya know in a couple of months how it turns out.

Ouch. Sorry to hear about that. My 94 Ram had crappy oil pressure when we bought it. The guage would jump down to 0 for a while and then jump back up. We thought the guage was messed up, until I heard the lifters rattling. We shut down the truck and had it towed the rest of the way home. Turns out the guy kept adding oil to the engine to "fix" the problem, when all it needed was the screen cleaned on the oil pump.

Holy crap did I just run across a bas azz deal! My motor problems have been solved. My luck must have turned around!
I just picked up a complete rotating assembly with a fully machined and ready to build block. This guy also threw in the heads, injection harness, intake, tb, and maf. All this for $200. Right on.
Everything is already balanced and blueprinted. TRW Forged flattop pistons.
Damn, I guess somthin bad had to happen before somthin good.

It seems that all this stuff had been sitting in his garage for about a year. Never built it.
