That being said, if I "knew a guy" who did side work, I would definitely go for it...

I got $50/hr from my Ford Mechanic for side jobs, and if there was a problem he fixed it for free. But there never was a problem. But he did do a few mods for me for free after a while, if they took like 15min to install. Because I came to him so much for advice and things, he loved hooking me up and working on my car. He also believed that if he were in my shoes, he'd want to know a cool mechanic, and he tried to help people out as much as he could, he wasn't in it for the money. He was in it to help people. And for that i was thankful and tipped him more sometimes even when i didn't need to :flag:
 
Well the car goes into the shop tom.... Worst case if they bull**** me , what is this going to cost?? I mean should I just push the car off a cliff?? and Play stupid =)))

we are 93/hr at my shop. i charge about 50/hr flate rate for side work, and as long as i got you the parts and have the recipts i warrenty the work for one year parts and labor.

right now i am limited by the fact that i live in a apartment. when i buy a house i am going too bring my box home and just do work at home ( i plan on putting a lift in my garage)
