My car got hit...

Well, on the way to school this morning, I was driving in traffic. Bumper to bumper traffic (you know how dangerous that is). Listening to my LP cd having a great time, then BAM. This black ford ranger from behind hits me. Not that hard, but hard enough to make me worry about my car.

So I signal to her to get off the road, she puts her turn signal on and I'm like ok, this SUCKS. So I'm waiting and on the side of the road, and I didn't see her behind me. I was like WTF SHE DIPPED OUT ON ME. Then I see her coming, so it was a great relief.

Get out of the car to check out the damage, paint is chiped, blue paint from her license plate is on there. Minor damage. Cop showed up, exchanged info, insurance, ect. Her excuse was "my foot slipped onto the pedal". I'm thinking, are your feet that large for it to slip off the brake and onto the gas. :nonono: She was nice and said she was sorry. But it still pisses me off. No offense ladies, but most of you CANNOT drive.

Thats weird, i went to Stone Bridge in Ashburn. King of fords around here has to be Paul with his 700hp Windsor Lightning. Have you seen it? What a beast! I hear he wants his motor in a fox though...it will scream

Man, havn't seen it. Have you seen that yellow 5.0 with the different hood and body kit, it looks sweet.

I was supposed to go to StoneBridge when I moved to Lansdowne, but they let me stay at Pot Falls since I was already a junior. Btw, since you used to go to StoneBridge, do you know Jason Boslough, and Curtis.

I used to think the same way until it happend to me once. It happened a long time ago, so I don't remember how I did it. Careless, tired, slippery shoes, something like that. What I do remember is that my foot slipped, and got stuck UNDER the brake pedal. As I started rolling forward (I missed the gas pedal, fortunately), I panicked and used my left foot to hit the brake. I stopped in time, but my right foot (still under the brake pedal) was unhappy. Of course, my foot really wasn't trapped; it was easy to free my right foot once traffic started moving.

Now, don't get me wrong. I'm not excusing her - she was still stupid for doing it in the first place. But mistakes happen. She didn't do it on purpose, and it's easy to fix.

I wonder if she hit the gas or just slipped off the brake. Several years ago, I had a woman in a Toyota 4Runner hit me from behind. We were both in the left lane (her behind me). This left turn arrow stays red when the cars going straight get the green. She saw green, she hit the gas, and slammed into me. Just my luck her bumper was higher then mine - she hit my taillights and trunk lid AND damaged the bumper too. Sucked rocks.

If you just need a repaint, you got off real lucky. Mebbe you can get her to pay you back in her own "special" way. :D
