My car (1998 gt) has been sitting in the shop for almost two months now, and I wanna take care of it as much as possible.

I was wondering what are the first steps when I get it back to make sure its stays running in top form?

what is it in the shop for?

start it up, let it idle for a minute or two and drive slow until it reaches operating temp......then go have fun

if your fuel filter is old...change it

Someone backed into it and its mostly been in for body work, no major major damage thank god. anyways I'm not sure if the car has been started up at all, but im learning toward no, not at all. Do I need an oil change and engine cleaner etc?

oil change after you start it up wouldnt hurt.
