Second week since my retune and gears.

Wow.

I am still freaked at the amount of pull and power. I mean it's nuts. I spend 80% of my time in rush hour. Why do I need such devices?

I should buy a Prius.

Nah....

LOL, I wonder the same thing sometimes. The only time when I can actually stretch the 'Stangs legs are when I purposefully go out on a drive late at night. Otherwise I'm always behind some person or in traffic and the Mustang is just a good looking and loud daily driver.

Shoulda got the V6.

NOT!

I bought a new daily driver back in June, and because I had put 20,000 on the Mustang since taking delivery in August 2006, I decided to let her sit for awhile. That and left rotator cuff / AC joint surgery 7 weeks ago made driving anything with gears nearly impossible.
Well, I pulled her out today, rinsed her off, dropped the top and went for a nice long drive on some good back roads. All I could say was "wow." I had forgotten how well these cars run. I can guarentee that she won't sit for another 2+ months unless I get deployed again before retiring.

1 year and 5 days into ownership on mine and she has 27,096 miles on her(8.3 when new). The longest mine ever sat was 2 weeks early last fall.
