If they do total it, a salvage title on a 30 year old car wont matter much. Especially if you plan to keep it.

Keep your documentation and if there is a salvage title it won't matter much to a serious buyer. The thing that matters is if the car had major accident damage and was rebuilt. The damage to your car is really superficial. You are lucky the car came out without more damage.

I used to tow cars for Copart Auto Auctions. The cars that I had to drag out of peoples burned garages were always completely destroyed. Everything melted. I'm glad your car came out in decent condition ( respectfully ). That car looks like a good car and shouldn't take much to make it better than it was before the fire.

Side note: when it comes time to replace the bumpers source the yellow urethane original material bumpers. They aren't hard to find in good shape. You want ones that haven't been repainted a bunch of times. The black aftermarket ones can have fitment issues and can also get brittle over time. They don't flex as easy as the original bumpers. Tend to crack with minor impacts ( don't ask how I know ).
