MAF sensor doesn't seem to be getting power...

I'm going by the manual I have and it says that with the key ON engine not running, the voltage should be 5 in thr MAF wiring harness. Mine is reading 0, and everything is on the right settings.

I'm going to play with it some more..

So.

The Haynes manual says to test the two middle of the 4 pins inside the MAF. It says if it reads infinite ohms then the MAF sensor is damaged. Mine reads infinite ohms.

What should I look for when it does this?

Should the car run like crap or run like normal?

Fixed it - When I got my X pipe installed, they didn't install the front O2 sensor.

I bought one and reset the computer and the car runs fine.

Yes there are 2.

The front drivers wasn't there, but the passenger side was.

My bulb is fine, no idea why there was no code thrown.

So I'm driving and all of a sudden it was like the car was getting no gas whatsoever.

I was with two friends and we barely made it home, the car was accelerating slower than it would if it was powered with a 4 cylinder.

It's now idling VERY rough, and sounds as if it's going to die.

Randomly the problem will go away as I'm accelerating and the car feels like it's getting full power all of a sudden.

I replaced the fuel filter today, didn't fix the problem.

What's going on?

Check your IAC as well..if that is bad your car will do all sorts of weird stuff.
