My car rotors:Have you thoroughly searched your garage and driveway?
@General karthief lost his car once and he found it in the back yard under and old doghouse and a convection oven.
The dogs put up a bit of struggle, giving it back.
On a more serious note:
Pull codes
Pull your cap and rotor and look it over real good.
Tonight after dark: Open the hood with the engine running and look for any signs of lightning around the wires and coil.
I didn't even know I had dogs till I mowed the lawn back there and they started chasing me@General karthief lost his car once and he found it in the back yard under and old doghouse and a convection oven.![]()

If it looks burned or worn away, replace it. Inside the cap, you are going to look at each of the 8 contacts that the rotor above, swipes past when the engine is running. They should look clean and flat with no gouges or galling. A little bit of discoloration means nothing.
When I step on the gas, I feel a bit of force when it's missing.Did you see any arching in the dark? How old are the spark plugs? If you've inspected them, do you see any cracks in the porcelain? How old are the plug wires? How are the wires going to the TFI on the distributor? Do you have a multimeter? Does it only do this when it's cold/warm? Did it start doing it shortly after filling the fuel tank?
Explain this a little more. Are you feeling a bit of force in the gas pedal or ????When I step on the gas, I feel a bit of force when it's missing.
