My car is slow, but I really shouldn't be putting any more money into at this point. Time to wait to finish school and then do a wickid 347 with some spray to keep me satisfied. Anybody else feel this way?

Yeah dude. I messed around with my buddys bolt on 96 "GTS". I didn't put as many car lengths on him as I expected. I need to get on the dyno to see where I'm at after some changes and tweecing. But that won't happen until at least next summer, if then at all.

I feel the same way, but we will always feel that way. I have driven around 500 hp cobras for days at a time, and those felt slow after about an hour also. With spary, whenever you feel that way, then spray it to keep satisified. If you had the spray power all of the time, you would get used to it and sick of it.

I also agree on the money situation.

I raced road course yesterday and had so much fun. I drove an hour there, beat the hell out of my car and drove home with not one problem. I had a blast and things like that make me realize that our cars are still pretty fast and and you can have tons of fun with them. I want to buy some more suspension now!

You run 12.7 at 110 and you only put a few car lenghts on a 96 GT with "bolt-ons"? Do his bolt-ons include a bolted on nitrous kit or bolted on supercharger?

I certainly wouldn't call 12.7 ETs and 110mph trap speeds slow.

Yeah I'm in the "slow as s**t" category. I'm sure I'll still feel slow after my H/C/I mods, and slow after the new tranny I'm putting in in the winter, and after 3.73's, and a new driveshaft.

I won't feel adequate til I'm pushing at least 450 - but then I go to a mustang shop out here and watch 840 hp kb charged cobras being tuned and I feel really slower...lol. I need a loan man.

Yup, mines slow too I'm already looking to send the heads to fox lake for their stage I job and a new custom cam from hitech motorsports. I think I need to get some times on my car and save some money too. I haven't really played around with anyone on the street except a friends 05GT. That really wasn't a real race though, we both had punched it from a roll, but I was only doing that to datalog my WOT run on my wideband.

Haha...well, we race from 70 to the top of fourth (~120). By the time we were at that speed there was prolly 4-5 cars on him. Maybe I should try him from a dig or a slower speed.

Still feels slow.

Oh...and that 96 has exhaust with long tubes, TB, upper plenum, pullies, and I don't know what else. That car is insanely light too. I think it weighs around 3000 without him in it. I had his brother in my car too. He said that right when I hit fourth, I instantly put a couple cars on him. I need to race some more LS-1s.

We all go through this stage I think. When I get done painting mine and installing all the MM goodies, I'm sure I'll be happy again; for a while atleast.

I know exactly what you mean. I'm ready to graduate and earn big bucks to get my stroker 347 TT setup. I don't think I'll feel slow in that. Well, maybe.

My goal was to get mine back on the road before I go back to school. That's not gonna happen....

I guess there is always next year.

I was wanting that too but there is always next spring. Who knows, if I can get mine done by September or October I can have great convertible weather.

My car has been feeling like a dog lately. Probably because it is, but it's almost like it feels slower than it has been. I find myself looking at all kinds of performance parts on Ebay all freaking day long. A couple weeks ago I was thinking that I would go over the suspension, and upgrade the brakes before I put any more power in it, but the priority list is switching around.

You think your cars are slow, mine barely spins them going into 2nd. But then again I'm having major tuning issues.

Like someone said, when you drive the car for a while it will feel slow eventually. My car feels slow to me now too. I think if you have an honest 600rwhp and its a street car it wont ever feel slow lol.

Until you drive the 600rwhp for a few months...

There are a bunch of 600+rwhp 03s around me. Whipple + 23 psi =
