My car just got totalled... :(

I have 26 tickets, my insurance has never gone up a dollar. Lawyers pay for themselves in the long run.

WTF???? I have no tickets and my ins. on the 5.0 is 35 amonth full coverage:D

But tahts what I pay, my dad is on my car,I am on my mom's van which is 90 a month full coverage. Nice having it as a "recreational driver" huh?

Well not that anyone cares but I will update this thread :) I finally got another mustang its a 2001GT with 40,000km. It has a few mods like exhaust , CAI, and SCT tune but it does not have that raw power that my 5.0 had. Its great because its a lot newer and drives smooth so I am happy. SUPERCHARGER here I come!!

I tried finding a nice notch but eventualy gave up... If I ever find a roller or something in the area I will definately pick it up and swap my old parts over.
Glad to see you're back on the road. Good idea not selling your parts. You'll find your way back into a 5.0 eventually. :nice:

Same boat as Adams91LX.....

19 years old .... no accidents .... not tickets .... never even been pulled over for a warning and I paid $113 a month up until two months ago and I pay $89 now.

That's bare minimum keep my ass legal coverage. Gotta love Allstate and my insurance guy, he's a customer of mine and now that I'm becoming eligible for things I will get my price knocked down lower and lower because he enrolls me in all the "preferred customer" programs to save me money. Obviously he checks with me first, but why wouldn't I?

Oh by the way, $5600 ain't bad if you get to keep the car! :nice:

If it were me, I would find a bunch of listings of cars for sale similar to what you have and go from there. It was the other persons fault correct?? Or did I miss that. If so then show all the listings to the insurance company showing what your car is worth to a consumer, not a book.

+1,000,000

I highly suggest doing this. The same thing happened to my friend and he took pics, got sale ads on similar cars of same value and got what he wanted and a little for mental anguish. A lawyer helps but just remember he is going to take 30-40% off of the top.....
