My car needs to go on a diet!

I just thought I would share a bit of information I gathered tonight. I don't know if many people have access to a scale to weigh their cars, but a friend and I went tonight and here are the results.

1994 Mustang GT (Automatic/Convertible)
My Car's Weight (w/ driver): 3,780 lbs
Driver's Weight: 230 lbs

So, you can assume that and AOD-E Vert weighs right at 3,550 sitting by itself.

Just for some additional information:

1999 Mustang GT (5-speed/Hard Top)
His Car's Weight (w/ driver): 3,440 lbs
Driver's Weight: 175 lbs

His clocked in right at 3,265 by itself.

Anyways, I just wanted to share as someone may find this information handy.

By the way, both cars had approximately 1/4 tank of gas when weighed.

Those weights sound dead on. My car in stock form weighed 3340 with a full tank of gas. Now it weighs 3380 with the aluminum heads, D/S, blower, subframes, and misc other parts.
