Well, I've got more progress done.

The engine is now started and running. My brother, Blackened302, Blackened302's brother in law and my dad helped me get rid of an amazingly bad stutter that the car had. I couldn't go past 1200 rpm without it cutting off like crazy. Turned out to be a bad ground. But now that that's taken care of, the car is running pretty strong, a little rich, but strong. The tune should take care of that.

Interior will go in tomorrow, and the painter will buff the car on sunday. Oh IM SO CLOSE!!!

Big Ups to the guys that helped me out, Nacho, Paul, Luis, my bro and dad.

Car does look bad ass! Get the hood on there and take some more pics. Plans have changed and I may be in the valley in a couple of weeks and I may be able to see it in person.

FINALLY, some updates. haha.
Here are a couple more pics. They show the differences in the color shades under different lighting. One is a cell phone pic and the others are from a local site at the local hangout.

Funny story:
I was driving on the expressway on the second day the car was complete, and I exit, and at the stop light, the tranny refuses to go into 4th gear. I come to a stop at the next light, take off, and it refuses to go into second gear, so I skip to 3rd, then have to skip to 5th. I stop, turn off the car to see if it would enter gear, nothing. I thought my tranny was done for. I got it home, started cursing a little, and calling around to see where I could find a good deal on a t-5. I drive it once afterwards to the hangout since I wanted to show my friends the paint before I parked it again. Then today, I was talking to nachito, and he asks me how I like my shifter (I bought an MGW). I said to him, "It's nice, it's got really short throws..." and as I was continuing my sentence, I was thinking about what to say next, and what I was going to say next was that it had adjustable shift stops, and as soon as those words went through my head, I ran to the car, pulled up the boot, back up the stop and VIOALA, 2nd and 4th gear returned to me, haha. All week it never dawned upon me that the stop may have shifted forward. Oh well, live and learn.

It's a full '03 cobra interior swap. Dark gray leather with gray suede inserts.

new shots should be coming soon--just waiting on his intake spacer (to clear the valve covers) to get the car back together again.
