Any idea as to the power gains?
Get some 4.10's and the your cobra will really come alive.
You just need to learn how to drive your cobra with the tuneThe 4.10's is not going to help if you spin the tires
Gears are a must for a first mod along with a shifter. You just have to learn to drive better. Even with suspension you can still spin the tires with those gears.
Anyone see the Horse Power TV show on Saturday? I know it was an 03 Cobra, but DAMN! With no,0,nada, not a single other mod a Hypertech with no provisions for custom tuning gave the car 43 rwhp!!! After that they swaped to a 3" pullie and only gained another 6hp and then anothe 12hp when they put on the 2.98 or 2.93I forgot which. Sorry a little off topoic but that is an unbelievable gain for JUST a tune with all factory hardware
Yeah I know and we install a CAI, it's good for 5-8hp on our n/a cars while the terminators gain around 25+hp. I swear, I'm going to get my hands on one later onThey respond so well to simple mods. I'm jealous.
Serious.... I just watch one run a 10 second quarter mile with a whipple...

I agree with you, but that stock IRS of mine also hops bad under hard lanuches. I have a feeling that if I put 4.10's in and go to the track I'll bust my 28 spline axles through wheel hope off the line
The guy who installed my gears just got a 03 cobra and installing his whipple this weekend. He's going to be in the 10's for sure. He's looking to swap his IRS for a solid axle because the wheel hop sucks from the IRS.
I had 4.10's in my 99 cobra. You just have to learn how to control it. An IRS brace and better bushings help.
Dude, PM me if he wants to! I have a solid 8.8 with fresh Trac-Loc and 3.73s and new seals. I would drive mine to him and pick his up.
Sorry mods: if this violates please just erase instead of locking Thanks
