My dyno numbers... (Video Added)

Here are the mods:
Mac Pro-Chamber
Mac Flow-Path Cat-Back
Mac Straight Shot with MAF
Accufab 75mm Throttle body and Elbow
SCT Custom Tune
4.10 Gears

Here are the numbers from a Mustang Dyno:

There was another set of numbers I saw displayed at:
261.1 TQ and 229.6 HP

How Accurate does that seem?

On a Mustang Dyno? that doesn't sound right for the mods you have???

Or are they flywheel numbers?

Seems a little high to me as well but if you add the 15-18% difference in that the Mustang Dyno loses compared to the Dyno Jet, the numbers come up almost correct. I have the video of the run but it is 12 megs and I really don;t want to host it on my web space at that size. Anyone know of any quicktime editors that I can use to trim the "fat" off the video? I was told that it was on a "Dyno Jet" setting to see the difference. Like I said as well, the other numbers I saw said 229.6 HP and 261.1 TQ. Add 15% to that and you get 264.0 in HP and 300.2 in TQ. Add in 18% and you get 270.9 in HP and 308.1 in TQ.

I am not saying that the numbers are dead solid, I just want some insight into why they are so high. I mean, my car would be a MAJOR freak to see those numbers.

i put down 281, 276, & 276 on a mustang dyno with all of my mods in the sig. Lt's, prochamber, flowpaths, trickflow plenum, 70mm tb, & mac straightshot with MAF, (4.10's), for all my power mods. so it's very possible that it's that close

I've never seen a dyno graph that looks like that..it appears to be a program that corrects the #'s back to flywheel hp/tq. with a nice print out.

I'd say the 230/260+ were the rear wheel #'s.

Or...your car is a complete freak.

If it was only putting out what the stock numbers should be with all of the mods, I would sell it. I was thinking around 250 or so in HP but was kinda surprised and honestly thinking something was wrong at the 273.

Going by past dynos posted, I would agree with your estimates of 250rwhp and in the 270s on tq. Don't know what's going on with that dyno sheet.

Here's the video of the pull. The top number in the second column is the HP and the number below that is the torque.

PLEASE, right click and save to conserve my bandwidth.

What gear was the car in when the dyno was performed? A 3rd gear pull might skew things. Dynos are typically run in 4th gear to get the 1:1 ratio going on.

For some reason that doesn't add up to me. On a mustang dyno and with the addition of 4.10's, those numbers seem high. Even on a dynojet I think that would be a stretch.

It was a 4th gear pull. I am hoping to get it on a Dyno Jet in the near future to compare numbers.

I just got my car dynod last night. Something is not right here. I saw your video and your rpm and mph don't add up. I have an 01 mustang with a few more mods than you and mine was on a mustang dyno. MY top speed in 4th gear was 118mph at 5900rpm. My numbers came out to 233hp and 260 torque. I have mac straight shot, mac long tubes, accufab plenum, accufab 75mm throttle body,390 gears and 2 steps colder spark plugs because I am spraying a 100 shot. My numbers are a little low N/A but it's set up for nitrous. I don't see how yours would be 40 more on hp though? Something doesn't add up. The other numbers though, that sounds right, 229hp and 261trq. I would go off of that. I don't know what that dyno sheet is.

I pulled 258 rwhp with bassani x and cat back, c&L inlet plenum, steeda cai, 4.10's and plullies, that was SAE corrected. I think your numbers are off.

Now I'm not an expert here, but the weight the dyno operator enters affects you rwhp. I see its listed at 3240, which is a bit low and may be the cause of your high #'s. For example, I have had my Mach on Mustang dyno twice, First in April they put it at 3750 (270) and then in Sept 3625 (289) after I removed a few worthless mods . I made more hp with less mods at 3625. Also, I believe all stangs should figured at 3750. Dont flame please b/c this is just what I'm pretty sure of, not certain. Also, did you do a 1/4 mi run on there? Has any one else? Just curious how accurate they are.

You don't do 1/4 mile runs on a dyno.

Mach's weigh a bit more than standard 2v's but, either way, his numbers don't seem correct no matter how you look at it. If it were a dyno jet, it would still be high but at least more reasonable.
