My first Mustang

Got it about 1 hour ago, 1990 black gt 5.0 auto. Runs real strong, shifts great. Could use a paintjob. The passenger side window doesnt go down, so i need to fix that but what is that problem? It just doesnt respond when you press the button. Also needs a radio the one in it had no buttons really lol they all were popped off but thats no biggie ill have that in about 2 weeks(xmas time).. pics tomorow if i can
oh yeah got it for 1300 with a newly installed alternator and new tires

sounds like you need a passenger side window motor, pm me if you want one for cheap

The brushes are probably worn out on the motor... just take it out of the car and you can get a new brush set for like $10 if you can solder... easy fix. AND POST PICS!

Aright ill take pictures in the next hour and post em up, its with a camera phone and its dark but ill give it a try. tomorow ill get good pics with the real cam if i can(lost the cable)

It could be well over a 100k for $1300.. His window motor isnt exactly broken.. He could have a bad switch. My switch wasnt working on the passenger side of my 87 but when you used the drivers button it went down..

Welcome aboard........could be the switch or the motor, take a look before you just throw money at it.

Sounds like a nice deal, fix it up as you go and enjoy it.

Welp its not the motor on the window because i can lower it by the driver side switch. But the passenger switch must be bad, what do i look at to fix that?
