So I've been wanting to get a 5.0 , really wanted a fox, but I like the 95. Found one that is in pretty good shape, with all build and service receipts. Even a picture of the car new. Anyway, after a bad window module quite on ride home, then I realized the car would start without keys. Ordered parts, other issues speedo reads 90 when actually doing 70. This is a gt/gts 5.0 manual gt40 heads, cobra intake, I believe a t45, and a f303? I have the cam sheet I'll get a picture up. Also the auto locks will lock both doors but won't unlock. You can pull handle or lock lever. Any ideas, thanks for any help fellas. Any help full suggestions on lock change, seems pretty simple.

Actually, it was the little blue box in the door, which is for the push button one and the window goes all the way down. I had to fix the door panel, a little jb weld to reattach the metal frame to plastic door panel. Then a driver switch panel, and new locks. Main thing paint is pretty rough, I started buffing it just taking allot of time. Really cleaned up the interior. You know of any thing in particular I should pay attention to. One thing I noticed it grind going into 5th, you can get it if you get the rpm right. All other gears fine.
 
Buffed it today, looks so much better. Paint is still rough in areas, but looks allot better in general.

Yeah I added a some hydro turf to the console compartment, as it was full of gunk. The turf stops rattling and is water mildew proof, is in my duck boat. Different shift knob, 3000k hid in fogs. Working on getting the ac hoses, it has a new evaporator and compressor is fairly new. I ordered the manifold line, the discharge, and liquid line with orifice. Also got a Red 21 tooth speedo gear, found out the car has 3.55 in it.
 
I'll never own another boat without it, whether it be a duck ( aluminum) or glass bass rig. It's easy on the feet, cooler, and lasts a while of you don't store in sun.
 
Thanks, I had to jump on the car when I found it. Only one minor wreck no airbags deployed, and original black 5.0 5spd car. The ac didn't hold vacuum, the manifold that bolts to compressor just won't seal. Any ideas, new seals in compressor.
 
Where did you get the lines that bolt up to the compressor? Possible manufacturer defect maybe? I've had oddball fitment on parts store parts over the years. Maybe pull it off and compare with another line they have.

I ordered it from buyautopatrs.com. I believe I found the problem, I think the ac mechanic took it off, because after I got home and got to looking. On the manifold the lower port the shoulder was out of round, a small egg had been created. I assume this was from it not being aligned and being tightened. I took a file and removed just a little material, returning the round shape. It's flush against the compressor now, just have to go back and get it filled.
