So my friend drove a Yellow/yellow 76 Ghia coupe down from illinois last week. His dad was the second owner of this car and it only had 97K miles. The interior is PERFECT on this car, I mean un believable, it makes my 85's interior look crappy (and I have nice interior for an 85!)

But, bieng in the north and sitting for 20 years....it has quite a bit of rust on it right behind the rear wheel wells, under the car, under the hood. Its sad

He told me he will restore it and make it into a show car probably. His first intention was to fix it up and let his daughter have it when she turns 16 in 4 years. Now he doesnt like that idea, he thinks the 302 is too powerfull for her ( I dont blame him either)

We went for a drive and the 5.0 ran strong conciderign it had sat for a long time. He said it hesitates sometimes in the cold. And the C4 tranny wasnt to bad either.

I told him he would have 'fun' restoring this car, because it was the hardest Mustang to ever restore. So if you gents could link me to a few places so I could help him see whats hes getting into, Id appriciate it.

Also, if I were to want to buy this car from him, what would be a good offer?
