my gas milage is horrible

+1..........i actually think gears help MPG cause it takes of easier and dont have to put the gas in as far to pick up ur speed.

i have my timing set around 12degs stock gears and conserative driving for the most part keeping it around 65-70mph

I wanna thank eveyoone for there advise..i had my ideas but u guys really confirmed my thought,s and gave alittle extra knowledge to me...seems like the previous owner wasent much of a wiz for someone who bragged so much....ill give the car the tlc it needs(it needs it bad) and im glad i have support if i need it....theres more issue of my car but ill start a new thread on those....im tryin to find out how to post pictures..illl try to get it done asap.....you guysrock...thanx again:SNSign:

My '90 LX gets around 200-220 a tank (full till right before the light comes on) with city driving. I did a hair over half a tank city driving, and the other half hw miles. I managed 251 miles and then the light came on. Mods are in sig as well. Stock gears and all... I was happy...

I would guess the injectors are really screwing with your milage. I would do as everyone mentioned and try to pull codes if there are any.
