As the title says, my girl tried to drive my stang tonight. Normally that wouldn't be a problem, but she has NEVER driven a stick in her life. We were over at a friends house and I ended up drinking more than I planned and she took my keys and was waiting for me in the drivers seat when we were leaving(better safe than sorry). She did much better than anticipated. We made it about 3/4 of the way home and we decided it would be safer for me to drive home the rest of the way. LOL. We both got a good laugh out of it. But now she wants me to teach her how to drive a manual. I knew it would be just a matter of time, I guess it's time to hide the keys from her now. LOL.

Yeah, I taught my wife how to drive a manual a few years ago, and she insisted on yanking out the p.o.s. AOD from her 90. We did a T5 swap and never looked back. She never regrets it, she LOVES driving a manual, and she's pretty good at it too. Its funny watching her hurt the feelings of a lot of guys leaving a stoplight.

But personally my ex used to street race foxbodies before I even had my license. She was one of the few people I used to throw the keys at and not worry. She is on her 5th DD stang.

my ex drove mine in a parking lot once she did alright, she never did wanna drive it down the road cause she knew id kill myself and her if she screwed up. ill teach my next one to drive a stick too. there needs to be more women that can drive em.

I let my girl drive my stang in a parking lot once. Funny story actually. She did pretty good for it being her first time. 45 mins into it, some *******s in dodge rams showed up and started doing burnout and donuts, naturally she got nervous and started to stall it. By this time, they where all watching us, not knowing it was her driving. Of course we got the point and laugh, and I had to wrap it up. Told her we had to leave before the cops came because of those jackasses, so she pulled up close enough to them to see us get out. We switched seats, and I let it rip, went straight for them and drifted between the 2 of their trucks, I actually think one of them pooped a little.

I don't let anybody drive my car. To tell ya guys the truth I don't have a girl friend but when I offered a couple of girls that I have known for a while 3 years to go for a ride in my mach they loved it and they love the V8 and one asked me if they can drive but I said no.The only way i told that one girl that she can maybe drive it would be that she would have to be my girl friend.
