Just waiting for the heads to get back from the shop!

Nice man, you should definitely notice difference between those garbage E6s and the ported E7s. Did thumper do the porting?

Also, I hate to be one of those guys that points something out, but I think either the backspacing on those rear wheels is way off, or you have the wrong length axles back there. Easily fixable. Car looks awesome otherwise! :nice:

I bought them ported, guy said they were done by a shop in TX... When i got the heads i droped em off at the shop and the guy said they have been lightly ported and he was going to do more and open up the Bowels? in side more... So they should flow some where close to Thumper's when they get done...

Those tires and rims came with the car... They do stick out some... I guess cause the guy wanted to run a bigger tire.. there are 295's on the back... I plan on selling the rims soon...

cause i have flat top pistions... and GT40 heads will cause PTV problems...

These heads will outflow GT40's

Those heads will outflow unported GT40s. But I think some guys are forgetting you're stepping up from E6s. Sure, you could have gotten GT40s, but you also could have gotten GT40Xs, Twisted Wedges, AFR 165s, AFR 185s, Canfield 195s, or AFR CNC'd 225s. Those ported E7s will be a nice step up from E6s and should pull fine for a budget build. :nice:

I agree with notchbacklx, you ARE upgrading from e6's. But still you really didnt get a bad deal, because you have a set of fresh heads, with a small port job, for a decent price. If you would gone the iron gt40 route you woulda paid that much for a set of dirty unported heads, that would probably need valvetrain work.

And Ryan if you read up on what it takes to port these heads you will realize MOSTLY all of the work is inside the heads and around the bowls and valves, just because the ports arent huge doesnt mean they cant outflow a set of gt40's.
