I added the body line, deleted the rear bumper, pulled the front bumper closer to the car. Lowered the height of the car , and I brought the rear 1/4 window down a hair. I think it looks cool, I want a IIcoupe now.

I found this picture on mustangii.net, I hope the owner doesnt mind I used his car.

That looks nice. Make it happen.

Adding a body line makes a huge difference. I ran a pinstripe down the rocker panels and swooped it up along the rear 1/4 panel cutout, and it really brought out the lines, IMO.

nice car, I saw a pic of blue thunders coupe and went from hating the II to loving them... I did a lil more work, deleted the marker lights/door handle, added the design in the cut-out, and changed the rims

Maybe it just looks mismatched because of the angle and the fact that they are really deep dished?

Oh yeah, 1/4 mile :: 11@114mph for the one on top.

The one with the hillborn scoop through the hood is his "street" car.

Who cares if the wheels match or not, when it can pull the front wheels off the ground?
Well who cares when you just want to get into the freakin 15's and can't because your 13 in wheels suck and your car gets 0 traction so you just want something that hooks a bit better.

That '74 flying the jolly rogers looks unbelievably awesome. KILLER 'Stang. One of the best I've ever seen.

In the other pic, that II is racing a maverick, which I think is cool, because my buddy has a built little Maverick, too.
It's professionally restored, original steel grabber hood, candy burgundy, with a 302, my old ported weind X-celerator intake and CC solid cam, with ported 351W heads on it, 4 speed toploader and 3.55 posi 8", and of course, dual Flowmasters. Pretty quick car.
We take em cruising side-by-side some nights, and that pic reminds me of it.
