My lower intake may be cracked. Will Ford pay for it on my 98?

Few weeks ago my car started missing and I noticed coolant in my front passenger side spark plug hole. After doing a search I learned this is a symptom of a cracked lower intake. I know this is a known issue by ford, but dont know if i'm still covered for this recall. Thanks!

I forget the name of the website, but there's a government website that shows all auto recalls. It will have all the information pertaining to your car. Unfortunately, I don't think it will be covered by Ford, they try and get out of any repairs

Well, the intake cracking problem is one that Ford didn't shy away from repairing too much I don't think because it was a common/fairly expensive problem. They owned up to it pretty well. Besides, if the dealership says no, and its within the range that it should be covered, all you have to do is call Ford, and in turn they'll call the dealer and bitch slap them because I'm pretty sure its illegal to deny you.

As far as being covered. I'd check websites like blueoval and see what the time frame is. I believe its between 5-7 years that you have to be covered if it cracks.

I have the same problem. But on mine I saw coolant coming from the thermostat gasket. Now I have coolant in my plug hole on the driverside, and the car misses bad under wot. I don't know if it's a cracked intake or just a gasket. I was told ford should have a 7 year warranty on 96-98 intakes

I'm having a compression test done on sat.
