My mach 1 grille delete does not stick to the car!

Ok first 2 weeks after the install the piece stay in place fine. Then came the rain. Now the double sided tape sticks to the car body and not the plastic piece. What's the best way to do this? Should I go buy more double sided tape? Maybe use glue to stick the current tape to the piece?

I used the good 3M stuff.....almost impossible to remove.... I bought it at home depot.
Make sure when you reapply new stuff that both pieces are extremely clean. I used a paper towel with a dab of rubbing alcohol to clean where the tape was going to be.
