You'll HARDLY notice.. Look at SVT32V's black notch you can't even tell.

so the setup is ranger axles, 5 lug drums, 94-95 spindles, sn-95 balljoints, and buy new 99gt or v6 brake calipers, get the core though advance ( i work there, wont be a problem) and then 99 + rotors?

right on except i beleive 94-04 non cobra rotors are all the same. my PBRs fit over my 95 gt rotors that i got when i bought the whole shabang off ebay.

oh yeah, one last note, i did have to do SLIGHT grinding to my 95 spindles to get the PBRs on. Dunno what the deal is with that and you may not have the same problem at all, but be aware of it. im sure others didnt. im running abs spindles. non-abs spindles might not have the same issues. i dunno!

The FOrd 99-04 rotors are slightly better quality than the previous 94-98 rotors. They are physically the same 10.8" rotor, but the quality is different.

If you go out and buy aftermarket or parts store rotors, i'm sure they are all the same. Even the new 99-04 rotors probably cross-reference back to the older 94-98 cars now anyway...so it's a moot point unless you go out and buy used rotors off a 94-98

To fit the 99+ Gt/v6 pbr's, you'll need to grind the spindle slightly to fit the pistons of the caliper. You'll see it when you try to mount the caliper up. Not a big deal..and not a whole lot of grinding

yeah my thread on corral, people are telling me to go with 96+ spindles so i dont have to grind. cant get a good idea on what is required to get those to work though tie rod wise. id rather have the newer ones. they have better ackerin right?

yes, they are much better overall and can be had cheaper. But depending on what wheels you want to run, hey may stick out.

Upside is 96+ tend to sell cheaper than 94-95.

I've been debating ditching my 94-95 spindles for some 96+ units. I want to run S197 wheels, so the extra width is needed anyway

well mm website says not to use 96+ spindles because it screws up the gemetry. so ima go with 94-95 spindles and have to grind them a little. now for balljoints if i upgrade to sn95 balljoints do i need spacers?

you mean the spacer to get the cotter pin to line up? if so, no, and thats the point in getting an SN95 BJ rather than a fox BJ. in fact, when i bought my SN95 BJ, it didnt even use a cotter pin. it used a nylon lock nut. easy!
