My power window stopped working. It went down but never came back up. I was about 1/2 a mile away from home and it started ****in raining. I got out the car and ran inside for a big ass trash bag and tape. I took the pic w/ my phone after it stopped raining. I thought I would never see the day my Stang would look like this. Pretty dam funny. By the way how would I go about raising the window? I havent looked into it yet but I assume you can just pull it up cuz its not a manual.

Your probably looking for duct tape and trash bags right now you liar!!! j/k I didnt have a choice man my insides were getting all wet. The ****ter is that I was going to turn my car around so the rain wouldnt go directly inside, I go to turn the key and the car wouldnt start! I was so pissed and confused I went to look after it rained and my charging cable was fried to ****. It blew out the alt. too. Luckily Autozone replaced it, but now Im stuck w/ no cable. I gots to get a new one somewhere. Where exactly did you say you lived?

Well...if you have enough life in your battery to raise the window, just pop the door panel off and tap on the motor while pushing the switch. I had to do this ONE time in my 2001. Then the motor worked fine and I used it almost everyday for a couple years 'til the car got totalled.

yup common thing on the newer cars

try banging on the inside door panel while pushing the button

if that dosent work try running power directly to the motor. if it goes up you know theres a problem in the wiring somewhere, if not you know ur motor is toast

My car has a problem with the pass side window dropping in to the door and the drivers window tracks is loose (window shakes a lot)...

So that may be the issue too. Take a look and see if the window is lined up with the opening.

As soon as I have my garage i am tearing into my interior to go after all the sqeeks and rattles...

Ive seen about five or six people driving around with the clear plastic covering a passenger or driver side window. They all had yellow license plates too. (From Chiuahua) A year or two ago I saw an old four door Ponitac sunbird with plastic on ALL five windows. Both driver side, passenger and the rear. Boy that was a sight to see. Dont mean to offend anyone, just reminded me of all that when I stepped back and looked at my car.

I was kidding bro. I was talking about going and stealing your charging cable. Thanks though, you're such a nice guy.

hehehe, the reason i asked about El Paso is because my TX History prof says a lot of people from El Paso consider it apart of New Mexico since it was at some time. He says his friends say "I'm going into TX" when they really already are.

Rednecks do the same. But oh, well, we don't have to politically correct all the time.

my gay ass windows are screwing with me too. im pulling the motor(s) out tomorrow. sucks when this happened to me- i worked all day anticipating a great race night. drove through traffic took two hours to get there. drive in go to put the window up (before i pay) and the passanger side window takes a dump on me. it took me an hour and a half to get home and it was one of the most frustrating parts of my life.
i was close to kicking my fenders in/setting the thing on fire.
good luck man,
-fawcett
