well as you can see in a few other threads I have recently been in an accident and had a little run in with the law involving me being 19 and posessing a six pack of mike's hard lemonade...I am opening this thread so that I can update you all on the status of my case and car...as of today with a big thanks to John (smokedya) my car has a brand new hood...john and I happen to have the same year, same color stang so I purchased his old hood from him and there is no need for painting..saved me huge bucks thanks john..well the bodyshop as of 4 pm today had the hood installed and the headlight fixed so the only thing left is the minor damage to the cobra bumper...there is no reason in my mind why the pony shouldn't be safe and sound in the stable tomorrow or friday..As for me and my license...I am told by various attorneys that since I am a legal adult, blew a 0.00 BAC, my containers were closed, and that this is my first offense that the likelihood that my license will be suspended is minimal...currently my plan of action is a plea bargain...I want to see if the prosecution wil accept community service and the SWAY program (info available online) without any suspension or jail time in exchange for a guilty plea..this may result in me having a criminal record..however I have to pay some price I guess so I want to at least keep the license...anyhow, I will update this thread as more information comes through...so everyone wish me luck! I'll need it.

for all those who don't know or can't remember this is my car before the accident..

thanks for the warning...I just thought people on here would like to know how my situation was going but any of the moderators have my permission to delete the thread...
The problem is not whether the topic is appropriate for the forum -- it's whether or not you want the information public. You may think everyone here is a friend, but you ought to assume that the prosecutor in your case is reading every word you type here.

Don't volunteer anything. See what they offer you. And then discuss it with your attorney.

Your biggest mistake would be to go in there and tell them what you think you would want them to hear. I went to court with my Brother in Law in Oly and they gave him more than he ever thought they would offer. He thought he was going to jail. Now he has two months to get stuff square and then it all goes away like it never happened...
