My new 2001 Cobra is here

Hello every one. Just bought a 2001 Cobra. Car needs a clutch. I already bought an Excedy Stage 2 and an SLP loudmouth 2 exhaust. While I have the transmission out what else should I do to the car at the same time? Any suggestions? Tranny mounts? Etc....

Figure while I’m dropping the cats and tranny I could do whatever else you think it might need.

Car was owned by a 60 year old woman and is bone stock.

Get a new throw-out bearing. The ones that come with the clutches are usually crap. Ford Racing bearings are best.

I just finished doing a clutch on my car. As stated above, I would recommend getting a ford racing throw out bearing and pilot bearing. I would also recommend taking a look at the clutch fork and pivot stud while you have the transmission dropped. The one in my car had pretty deep trench dug into it, so I went ahead and replaced it while I was there. Definitely do the rear main seal while you have the transmission dropped. Its only about $10 and it could save you a lot of money in the long run
