Well, where to start. With my current combo set at 6psi, I was not getting any weight transfer with my current set up. My car would squat down and come right back up and with my hp, it would blow the tires off. I tried everything tolaunch off my transbreak, yes I could try to footbreak it but as soon as the boost comes on, I blow the tires off.

I contacted my new HERO JOHN CALVERT and he told me about his mono leaf springs and rancho 9000 springs. I bought them and just installed them. WOW, just with his springs and shocks, it cut 3.5 tents of my 1/4 time. And 1.8 off my 60' alone, SO FAR WITH 3 RUNS. I also ordered the wrong springs, I need the -1 springs sp my car sits too high in the rear. The are sending me free springs to fix the problem, witch will lower the car 1 1/4" and make it sit almost level. I spent 400.00 dollars to gain 3.5 tents, what a steal. Also with this set up, I have no wheel hop and I took off my traction bars. Now that my stang can handle the h.p., I can change my pulley and start running more boost. I was embarraced to run in the 11.55's with my combo but I had to take out all the timming and launch at 3,000 rpm's just to try to limp out of the line or I would blow the tires off my car.

I suggest these mono springs and rancho 9000 springs to everyone street car or drag car. Thanks to Calvert Racing.

i'm having the same problem you had. it digs out of the hole, then unloads 20ft out. i ordered some double adj qa1 shocks ($$$), but i think i'm going to just get single adj ones, since your single adj works good for you.
what tire are you running and what's your old and new 60ft?
thanks.

That is a great improvement for the money spent!
Did Mr. Calvert not suggest his Caltrac bars? It seems that they would really help plant your tires. With your motor you have TONS left in the 60 foot and in the quarter. If you are not lifting the tires with that bada$$ engine then something in the suspension is wrong:D

What was your best time and mph?

I didn't go with the cal-tracs b/c I don't have any wheel hop. My pinion angle is correct, so he told me I didn't realy need them. I am hoping to get to the track next weds and try more boost 16psi. I should also have my methanol kit installed by then.
