I finaly got the time to pick up my new 73 Mach-1
The car was born in october of 1972 and was an original 351 2V car with Fmx and Medium Copper Metallic.
The car now has a 400M from a LTD from 76, the trans, a C6 is from that same car. The color now is Kawasaki green. But it will get a new Mustang red color with the Mach-1 stripes and some Cragar wheels. The deluxe interior is painted white but im going to change it into black. It features a deluxe interior with folddown seat, and the instrument group. A long console with clock with more. The car was an AC car, but the system is gone, the same about the electric windows

I have now taken of the grile and all of the interior. Im going to post pics from the resto her. Im hoping to get this, my other Mach-1 and some other americans ready for the road in april

This is how it looks today

The floor pans are new, but a wet carpet as made them brown.

The last owner bought them NOS in 1990 he said. The same with the backlight !
Most of the work is sanding and painting, i`ll post pics when i do something more with it

The other is almost finished. I have turned that car to a 71-72 looks. And the grille is under resto by a company in my hometown. I havent started it up yet. But mainly the part thats not finished is: Dasbord - starting it up - mount grille and hood lock and hood.

I also have to adjust the suspension

I prefer the grabber green they used on the 71-73 better then the green on my car.

A little update on the Greeny.
I havent done anything to it since the last post

It has been standing outside my brothers workplace under a cover. We took of the cover last night because we are taking the car to the barn we have (turned it into a big garage) We actually are going to take that car and my new 79 Mustang to that place today, but it has been snowing all night I just hate snow !!
It turned out that some punks have stolen the gas cap that looked like new

Now im going to use the christmas on my three Stangs
The other project is now getting a new engine......
