I've been working on this damn thing for the last week trying to get all the cold and 90% of the hot side piping fabbed up. Man what at PITA, i'm sure all the welds well leak like crazy and it'll run like crap till i get it tuned right. I had to crush a few places in the piping to get it to fit correctly the way i had it hopefully it'll work ok and mounting that turbo mocking up the parts just right . Damn lol i just hope i don't have to screw with all the parts again for some reason or another. BTW i only payed a grand for the kit so i had to buy it, it included most all the important parts it just needed the hot an cold piping so i think i got a hell of a deal.

I'll be running about 6-8psi of boost and a methonal injection kit so i can up the timing, i'm hoping it's a tad faster then it was before. I should have it running tomorrow or saturday i hope.

Not to mention i put a dent in the drivers fender i was pissed and didn't even realize i dented it till later that night .

That's the least of my worries at the moment, and it's not right up against the hose it's about a half inch away, still pretty close but there is nothing i can do about that.

I figured it's better that it touches the cold side of the turbo then the hot side right. On most kits it looks like the hose comes very close to the flange on the hotside.

No, when you turbo a GTP you take the guts out of the supercharger.

You take the snout off the end of the blower and then yes you take the rotors. You can buy a block off plate to stick on the end of the blower where all that stuff came out, i'm making my own. But that's pretty much it then you sell your snout and rotors if you want.

Well it's not cause of turbo GTP's lol i believe they are pretty easy to come by since there is a million GTP's on the road. Hell i had an extra set of M90 rotors in my garage i hacked up so i could make the block off plate.

Although within the last few years you have been able to swap on a Gen V blower off a newer GTP and also they started making whipple kits too for them.

I see the name "Whipple," and I start thinking about squeezing the Charmin...
