With all the cooling issue posts around here, I thought this might be somewhat usefull. I made a post not too long ago reporting a problem with my fox using coolant and running in the upper section of the temp gauge. I went to put on my off road H pipe and discovered the following..

Engine running tests reveled "O2 Always lean" (I think code 91).. anyways, I got a block tester and things came out as I figured they would, indicating a leak. Here are some pics of things as they sit now..

Here you can see the exhaust manifold indicating an issue in #8.

I've never seen this bad of build up in an engine before. Check these nuggets I found out..

Anyways, just need to remove the air tube, unbolt the A/C and P/S pump and the head will be off. Inside of engine is pretty dirty and obviously got run pretty hot at one time. Previous owner did say it overheated a few times and with what I see, I believe it. Hope to have everything back in order by Tuesday and back on the road.

Little bit of a follow up for those who care.. I found the headgasket on the left bank was blown and leaking into the #6 cylinder. Found several other issues also such as two torn injector orings and a clogged smog air tube on the back of the heads. Heads are currently getting cleaned up at the machine shop. Trick Flow gasket set is on order along with ARP head bolts. Cleaning everything up, going to paint the heads and then it goes back together. Going to fix leaking front crank seal since I am already in there also.
