My Stang Broke Down

Drove it abot 150 miles Sunday on a Road Rally...Ran Great (with the exception of a glitch on my VDO digital odometer )

I dove it to work Yesterday on the way home it just quit. Luckily I was only a couple blocks from the house. I walked home got my daughter and the truck and went back and towed it home.

It was the fuel filter. Only 6K miles on it. but about five years.

Maybe a new tank is in my future...

Sounds about right. rust does build up in them, while your at it, if you have access to an air comressor, I would suggest blowing out the fuel line, a lot of junk can build up in there

That happened to me a few years back. The whole filter was clogged
with garbage. I ended up installing a new tank and that took care of
my problem.
