Oye truck 5.0's are gutless wonders

stykthyn is dead on accurate. I had that 5.0 in a 92 F150 with a stick and it was a dog

The truck 351 however is decent...had one of those in a 95 F150 and it was torquey enough to be fun and smoke the 31" tires

Glad to hear you are enjoying it. If you are happy with the way this motor performs, just wait till you get into one with the HO 5.0

Really? I had a 92 F150 5.0 5 speed that ran reeeaaaal good. (for what it was anyway). It did have the usual bolt ons though. It would outrun stuff that you wouldn't think it would. Factory freak maybe ?

Oh yeah definitely was a dog, my dads 300 I6 could outrun it

On a different but similar note I had a 98 with a 4.6 that had a bbk throttle body, cold air, pulleys and exhaust and that truck ripped for what it was

225hp/300tq stock

entire rotating assembly, cam and intake are different. among other things. Thats why an HO 5.0 sounds different than a truck 5.0, the firing order is different.

Completely not trying to come off as a jerk here, but a tip I would give you is to write out your posts a little better...better spelling, grammar and punctuation. Doesn't have to be perfect but you will get a much better response to your posts that way. Shortening words and using excess netspeak makes it hard for some to take a thread seriously.

Wow no need to get so defensive, I was just suggesting that you write out words like "know" instead of "no" and "what" instead of "wat" but I assume you are 17 or 18 and type and text in netspeak. It was actually meant to help you because if you didnt notice, only 2 people actually posted with anything applying to your question and I was one of them. Write in coherent sentences that can be understood when read the first time through and people can and are more willing to help. When you have to read something more than once to understand it, it becomes easier to just click on to the next topic. Maybe I shouldn't have said anything but based on your response, I guess we really aren't missing out on much. This is the internet, don't take it so seriously.

wow dude chill out, i'm the first one to agree that its the internet and punctuation and capitalization isnt one of the things i try to get perfect, but at least spell your words right so someone will be more willing to help rather than crap on you for illegible sentences
