i went to the 1/8th mile track on friday. This is my second time going. I didnt improve at all. stayed the same. with 1/4 tank of gas spare and jack removed best i ran:
60ft 2.1
1/8 9.1@ 81.xx
It was about 80 out and about 85% humidity I think im around 1000 ft elevation or less.. like 700 so that shouldnt really be a factor. These times seem like what I should be able to run stock. I went to the track last year got almost identical numbers. This was the fastest run but they were all very close, usually a 2.1 60ft, and 81mph trap speed. Just .1 or .2 higher if my wheels spun more when i shifted. I would like to be able to get into the 8's. what do you guys think i could do for less than $1000 to get me there? Mods are in sig. I know my wheels are very heavy i think about 55lbs.

i ran an 8.7 last thursday with not very much done, there was a girl there in a 04gt vert, with just exhaust that cracked a 8.9, not to downplay you, but practice will get the times down a lot
, on my street tires i would run 9.0's with a 2.0 60', feathering at 2k, now i just hangon
