I have this Grant steering wheel I like on the car. But the stock horn button? Pleeese!
Anyway, I got tired of looking at the silver Grant logo and decided to customize it. I painted it white, then painted red and blue stripes. It was cool enough but it needed an extra touch.
So I went online and googled Ford logos until I found a hi-res image I liked. I printed it on photo paper, sprayed some fixatif to stabilize the ink, then glued it onto the button with clear. I have been building up more coats of clear until all the elements are flush.
For one evening of fiddling, it's a pretty acceptable low-buck custom touch...
