I just want to see what people with either Xcal2 or Predators have done with fan on/off setting. When you reply let us know if you have an aftermarket water temp gauge and what it typically runs at?

I set my Son's '04 GT at the same settings that I did my Mach1 using the Predator.
Low speed 1 on at 202
Low speed 2 on at 204
High speed on at 208
High speed off at 206
Low speed off at 200
Using the Data Log feature of the Predator, I dove around in various conditions and monitored the temp which never went over 206 and always stayed above 195. Note that the stock thermostat was also in the GT.

If go from a 195 to a 180 degree tstat lower all temps 15* That is straight out of the SCT tuning manual.

Just wondering, can anyone tell me if the factory on/off temps are different for California cars due to our stricter emissions standards? I know when I first got my Predator the hi-speed wasn't set to kick on until it reached 228 degrees on my 2002.

I just installed a 180 this past weekend, along with a Fluidyne radiator and Tru-Cool trans cooler.

even though I do have one of the very first Predators made for the Mustangs, actually one of the first 50, which has been 2 and 1/2 years or so ago. I just remembered the settings being like I stated and not like yours but I guess they very well could be.Either way I'd say my stated settings for lo speed 2 and yours for hi speed 1 are the same and my hi speed is the same as your hi speed 2. Dang, I just confused myself
