I just want to see what people with either Xcal2 or Predators have done with fan on/off setting. When you reply let us know if you have an aftermarket water temp gauge and what it typically runs at?
How about during race conditions at the strip/auto-x event? Do you or anyone else have temp. recordings from a race?hotrodnut said:Using the Data Log feature of the Predator, I dove around in various conditions and monitored the temp which never went over 206 and always stayed above 195. Note that the stock thermostat was also in the GT.

Auto-x'n the temp never went over the 206 either.40th GT said:How about during race conditions at the strip/auto-x event? Do you or anyone else have temp. recordings from a race?

hotrodnut said:Low speed 1 on at 202
Low speed 2 on at 204
High speed on at 208
High speed off at 206
Low speed off at 200
jeffnoel said:I just plugged in the Predator because something didn't sound right. I'm sure we're both using a U7146 model Predator but when I go into cooling fan settings here's waht mine reads.
Hi speed ECT1 ON
Hi Speed ECT2 On
Hi speed ECT off
Lo speed ECT off
Lo speed ECT on
So why does mine have 2 hi speed ons while yours has 2 lo speed ons?

I assume mine is like yoursjeffnoel said:I just plugged in the Predator because something didn't sound right. I'm sure we're both using a U7146 model Predator but when I go into cooling fan settings here's waht mine reads.

even though I do have one of the very first Predators made for the Mustangs, actually one of the first 50, which has been 2 and 1/2 years or so ago. I just remembered the settings being like I stated and not like yours but I guess they very well could be.
